Two Times Gold For Fourcade; Wins 20K

France's Martin Fourcade doubled up today by winning the Olympic 20K Individual to go along with his Olympic Pursuit Gold medal from Monday. Fourcade had a single penalty on his way to a 49:31.7 victory on the soft Laura Biathlon stadium tracks. The Silver medal went to Germany's Erik Lesser, who after shooting clean was in the lead with 4K to go, but faded to finish 12.2 seconds behind Fourcade. The Bronze medal went to Russia's Evgeniy Garanichev, with one penalty, 34.5 seconds back.

Dasha Dazzles; Powers to Pursuit Gold

Darya Domracheva of Belarus put on a dazzling performance to win the Olympic Pursuit Gold medal this evening, hitting every shot except the final one to leave Silver medalist Tora Berger of Norway, also with one penalty, 37.6 second back. Domracheva finished in 29:30.7. Slovenia's Teja Gregorin came out of the pack to win Bronze, with one penalty, 42 seconds back.

Sprint Gold to Ole Einar Björndalen

Norway's Ole Einar Björndalen won his first individual Gold medal in 12 years tonight by claiming the men's 10K sprint, with one penalty in 24:33.5. The 40-year-old biathlon legend took an early lead and held off Austria's Dominik Landertinger, who was 10 years old when Björndalen won his first Gold at Nozawa Onsen in 1998. Landertinger shot clean, but was 1.3 seconds behind Björndalen. The Bronze medal went to Czech Republic's Jaroslav Soukup, who also shot clean, but finished 5.7 seconds back.

Brorsson and Tsvetkov Win OECH Pursuit Titles

Sweden's Mona Brorsson won the women's pursuit in 32:38.7, with two penalties, while Russia's Maxim Tsvetkov won the men's pursuit in 31:56.4, with one penalty to claim the IBU OECH title in their respective competitions today.

Antholz Inside Track Wrap-up with Andrea and Simon

Germany came away the big winner this week in Antholz with Andrea Henkel second in the sprint and winning the pursuit, while Simon Schempp won both competitions. The German men then came back for third place in the men's relay. The French team won that final competition, the men's relay as the teams now focus on Sochi.

France Wins Fog-delayed Men’s Relay in Antholz

France won the final competition before the Sochi Olympic Winter Games, taking the men's 4 X 7.5K relay in 1:14:34.6, with four spare rounds. Sweden with a penalty and five spare rounds finished 2.6 seconds back. Germany finished third, with a penalty and 10 spare rounds, 38.8 seconds back.

Fog Forces Women’s Relay Cancellation in Antholz

Fog enveloped the Antholz Stadium during the second leg of the women's relay this morning, forcing officials to cancel the event. The fog was so thick that everything beyond 25 meters was completely white.
